Recent Updates to the Public Data Cookbook Community

We are pleased to announce several updates to the Data Cookbook public community. We strive to keep our public definitions updated so they remain relevant and current to those who use them both internally (as clients) and externally (for reference).

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC), a regulatory body in Georgia that certifies and classifies professional employees in public schools, recently underwent a full update in the Data Cookbook. This included substantial updates to current definitions and the addition of 159 new definitions. This brings the total definitions count for the GaPSC to 347. This is particularly helpful because it adds to the general language available for public use.

We also updated the definitions of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). While these did not include as many changes as the GaPSC, there were some updates to definition explanation and verbiage. There are now 564 definitions for public use.
